The 2021 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Saint-Georges has turned out especially well this year, exhibiting aromas of rich berry fruit, plums, loamy soil, warm spices and dark chocolate, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy palate that's layered and seamless, concluding with a long, expansive finish.

Rich mid purple. There is a wealth of fruit evident on the nose, a dimension over and above Les Cailles. The richness of the fruit fills the mouth all the way to the back, a light coating of oak, a very good acid balance and a graceful finish. Drink from 2029-2035. Tasted: November 2022.
