Instantanee has almost equal parts of each of the 3 main Champagne grape varieties from their 1er Cru vineyards in Ledus, Velledommange, Rilly-La-Montagne and Brouillet.

• Varieties:
  • Since 2012: 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier
  • Before: 35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier
• Terroir: Ludes 1^er Cru (calcareous clay soil), Villedommange 1^er Cru (soils of Tertiary clay, limestone, sand, and chalk), Rilly-La-Montagne and Brouillet (Tertiary clay, sand, chalk).
• Viticulture: Sustainable; Vineyard methods involve no herbicides, maintenance of natural ground cover, organic composts, and meticulous pruning, thinning and canopy management. This vintage wine is conceived as a “photo” of the year.
• Vinification: Separate vinification of each village, variety, and parcel. Aged for 7 years on lattes.
