Lighter ruby, pink edges. A med+ nose of red fruits, mixed currants and bing cherry, some pipe tobacco, smokey notes, some savory herbs too, crushed wild florals. Medium bodied, med+ tannins and acidity, a med+ flavor intensity finishes long, persistent, energetic and complete!  Like drinking a young barolo that is ready to drink now. 100% Nebbiolo.  50% Barolo Cru vineyard sourced fruit, 50% Langhe based fruit. Perno and Broglio Cru Barolo vineyards. A total SMOKESHOW!

From a 0.6-hectare parcel in Monforte (Perno), plus fruit from the Broglio cru and other Langhe designate plots they own. Grapes are destemmed and crushed; fermentation occurred spontaneously in cement vats, with maceration lasting around 20 days with pumpovers. After malolactic, the wine was racked in Slavonian oak botti of 1000L and 2000L, where it aged for a year. Bottled without fining or filtering and held at the winery for 3 months before release.
