La Gloriette is what the VV was always called in Europe and Kermit has finally adopted the same name/label for what has always just been the VV.

(casks) full, dark red; the nose serves a rolling aroma of blackberry fruit, a note of prune ripeness, a herbal siding. The palate delivers expressive black cherry fruit with kick in the polished tannins, is well together, stylish, has a confidently suave, established feel to its second half. The tannins give good late support, so all is in place for a good evolution. It’s a serious, well structured St Jo. Day 2: smoky depth, good cool fruit on the nose; the attack is springy, bounds along, is vivid, oak to settle on it. 14°. 8,000 b. €31.80. From late 2025. 2039-41 Sept 2023

"The deep purple-colored 2022 Saint-Joseph La Gloriette Vieilles Vignes dazzles with pronounced raspberry, red cherry, iodine, violet and cured meat aromatics. Lingering on the medium-bodied palate with ample concentration and all framed up by ripe tannins, the 2022 brings it home with a complex finish." - By Nicolas Greinacher on October 2023

93 points Decanter
"Smoky bacon and violet notes, then full-bodied, generous and concentrated in the mouth. Good acidity and internal freshness, even though the fruit is soft, liqueured and velvety with a long finish. Fermented with a proportion of whole bunch; matured for 15 months in demi-muids." - Matt Walls, Sep 2023
