The 2.5-hectare Cà Moréi vineyard is located in the Valgella sub-zone at 550 metres, in the municipality of Teglio. This dialect name means 'The House of the Morelli', and it identifies the house where Mansueto Morelli lived with his family at the beginning of the twentieth century. His daughter Emma married Pietro Fay in 1947.

Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca)

Trellising: Guyot

Sub-Region: Valgella, Ca Moréi vineyard. The vineyard is situated at 550m asl in the east part of the municipality of Teglio, south exposure.

Soils: Sandy (7o%), silty (3o%) with an acidic pH

Harvest: hand picked usually in the second half of October.

Winemaking: Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks; malolactic fermentation and aging for 12 months in 30 HI neutral, large oak casks and 500L oak barrels (tonneau)
