clear yellow; this has an interesting nose, floral clarity, with soft notes of honeysuckle, white peach with a little salting, plus a hint of oak. There is neat citrus-lemon on the palate debut, the gras richness is well together, precise. It ends on its terroir, holds a crisp, bonny freshness, is nice and calm, well presented. It has more truth and interest than their Crozes blanc. 12.5% abv
70% Roussanne, 30% Marsanne (av age 15 years) from granite soils at Chavanay & St Pierre de Boeuf, 80% own harvest, 20% purchased harvest, whole bunch pressing, 2 day cool decantation, tank fermented at 18°C until specific gravity 1040, wild yeasts, then into 2-3 year 400-litre oak casks, max temperature 19°C, raised 9 months, malo blocked
