The broad-shouldered 2022 Cornas Granit 60 offers pronounced intensity of spice-box, cured meat, blackberry jam, cedarwood and wet tea bag alongside crushed violets and iodine subtleties. Full-bodied, concentrated and framed by a massive tannic core, the 2022 concludes with persistence on the expansive finish. Very promising. - By Nicolas Greinacher on October 2023

Fermented with 30% whole clusters and brought up in used barrel, the 2022 Cornas Granit 60 is lifted and vibrant, with cassis and some candied blue fruits as well as fresh thyme, bouquet garni, pepper, and liquid violet-driven aromatics. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced, with the vintage's ripe yet still fresh style, it should benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and have 15 years of overall longevity.

(cask) dark robe; the nose is ripe, rounded, has assured depth, lines up mulberry, loganberry, a hint of violet, is thorough and lingering. The palate is well juiced in an open debut, holds well on mid-palate, bears coating of content, thick and well embedded tannins, hints of mineral. It has filling, balance, the latter especially good given the summer conditions. From late-2025. 2044-46 July 2023 Previously March 2023 ****(*) (cask) dark red; the aroma is broad, sustained, airs of red berries, raspberry, hedgerow black fruits, has good layering, scope, a neat trail of mineral at its centre. The attack comes forward with no hesitation, gives plentiful richness that is fluid, holds well, a couch of firmness along the second half. Good structure lies within the rather flashy display, and the length is sure. From 2026-27. 2045-47 March 2023
