Costa Bassa is the wine estate’s classic wine. Due to its fresh and elegant characteristics, it expresses the varietal in an essential manner.

Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca)

Trellising: Guyot and Sylvoz valtellinese

Sub-Region: Valgella, Municipality of Teglio. The vineyards are situated 450m altitude, southern exposure

Soils: Sandy (7o%), silty (3o%) with an acidic pH

Harvest: hand picked usually in the second half of October.

Winemaking: Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tank, malolactic fermentation and aging for 12 months in oak casks.
