Grape varieties: 100% Pinot Noir planted between 1960 and 2018.

Our Tasting Note: Classic ruby colored core and edges. Med+/pronounced nose of crushed red pinot fruits: cherry, strawberry, pomegranate, fresh and sappy, subtle spices too (from 33% whole cluster). A med+ but fresh palate intensity, med/med+ acidity, medium body, a med+ elegant and quite impressive finish for this "Bourgogne".

• Vineyard: A selection on 1.2 hectares of mature vines and approximately 2 hectares of young vines.
• Terroir: Mostly Bresse marls and pebbles from Cones.
• Viticulture: Organic Agriculture. Soil work by plowing, then spontaneous grassing over the course of summer.
• Harvest: Manual in small 15 kg boxes, with sorting into vat room.
• Vinification and aging: Fermented with 33% whole clusters, moderate punching down and pumping over. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aging in barrels (228 liter barrels, demi-muids, etc.) of 3 to 8 wines, for 12 months, then 4 months in stainless steel vats.
