My Tasting Note 91 points:
Medium ruby red, transparent as you tilt the glass and pink at the edge. The nose is textbook sangiovese with medium+ intensity showing red cherry, red currants, new leather, loamy and light balsam notes, everything you want in a Chianti Classico. The palate is med/med+ bodied, perfectly integrated acidity and medium grain tannins. The palate intensity is med+ with a long, persistent finish. Excellent. We bought more of this for the shop immediately after tasting it.

The value here is superb - better or as good as many Chianti Classico I have had of late and just about any sangiovese under $25. Looking for a great workhorse house Italian red, this wine is your huckleberry! This is a seriously delicious and also fun wine that over-delivers for the price. 100% sangiovese from Caparsa's estate younger vines aged in cement tanks. Back up the truck!
