The most cerebral of the 4 Pinots, I loved this one for its complexity and though provoking complexity, as you can tell from that it was my favorite of the group!

Our Tasting notes: A tad deeper ruby hue than Hyland, but still medium, slightly pale.  30% whole cluster gives a gorgeous nose with baking and savory spices, more intense than Hyland, more complex, with red cherry, raspberry, fresh wild florals, very spicy, lovely! On the palate this is medium bodied, med/med+ tannin that are fine but subtly chewy, youthful, med+ intensity and a long, dense, persistent finish, tons of flavor and light on its feet!

2019 for comparison's sake (last vintage made):
95 pts Wine Advocate
The 2019 Pinot Noir Bednarik Vineyard, from self-rooted vines planted in 1988, was vinified with around 30% whole clusters and matured for 14 months. It has kaleidoscopic aromas of strawberry, raspberry and pomegranate layered with detailed notes rooibos tea, licorice and tobacco. The palate is chalky and refreshing with a fragrant core of floral fruit, and it has a long finish streaked with spicy accents.

2019 for comparison's sake (last vintage made):

Glistening magenta. Highly fragrant aromas of red berry liqueur, pungent spices and potpourri, along with a hint of botanical herbs. Concentrated yet lively as well, offering sweet raspberry, kirsch and floral pastille flavors that slowly unfurl through the back half. Fine-grained tannins add delicate grip to a juicy, sharply focused and very persistent finish that displays repeating floral and spice qualities. - By Josh Raynolds on February 2022
